What do we believe?

We believe the Holy Bible is the infallible word of God, and the sole authority on every subject.

We believe the church is the body of Christ and he is the head of that body (Colossians 1:18)

We believe that God came in the flesh in the person of Jesus Christ, and he is true and eternal (Hebrew 1:3, St John 1:1)

We believe that repentance and baptism must be done in the name of Jesus Christ, for remission of sins and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost with the initial signs of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.  (Acts 2:4, 2:38 & 4:12)

We believe in the Lord’s Supper, washing of the saint’s feet and living soberly, righteously and Godly in this present world.

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life

Jesus Christ said in St. John 14: 6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Many heavenly minded people think that they can make it to eternal life without accepting Jesus Christ and being baptized in His name. However, Acts 2: 38 clearly states “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”  This promise wasn’t only for the men and women Peter was speaking to then it is also for YOU and ME as declared in Acts 2: 39 “For the promise is unto you, to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

      So, harden not your heart while telling yourself that you have time to accept God. The perfect and accepted time is NOW! 2 Corinthians 6: 2 echoes this sentiment “For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee: behold, now is the accepted time: behold now is the day of salvation.”

No matter what you have done in your life, no matter how bad you think it is, God is READY to forgive you if you let him.

To repent: Is asking God to forgive all the wrong and sinful things you have done. This fulfill step one of Act 2 verse 38. Declaring your readiness to accept him as your Lord and Savior set you up for step two: Water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Step three: Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost,  this is God coming into your life and live with you for the rest of eternity. These three steps are prerequisite for having eternal life and should be followed by holly living. 

God is merciful and will abundantly pardon you as stated in Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall become wool.”

You can’t afford to delay, this is VERY important! Don’t let anything distract you from seeking God now. If you desire a place to worship our doors are open to welcome you.

Time is of the essence!

As we read in Isaiah 55:6

“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near, let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
